HOW IT WORKS
WATCH OUR VIDEO BELOW
It’s literally a Real Place – and people go there in real-life
It’s literally a Real Place and you can go there in Real Life. Just like the Internet, people join groups to discuss anything and everything. But now you can do that in-person – in real life!
There are many small groups at tables. Each table has an electronic sign that shows what’s being discussed. People are free to drop-in on any group and new groups can easily be created.
WHAT'S IN A REAL PLACE
Imagine a place that’s like the Internet but Real. Electronic Signs above tables show what’s being discussed. The forum is divided into Subject zones by lighting tables different colors. The overall look is futuristic but the feel is friendly and intimate – like a cafe. A large display gives an overview of the whole forum and shows what’s being discussed at every table.
A NEW HUMAN CENTERED TECHNOLOGY
In the past technology reduced human contact
Previous technologies replaced face-to-face communication
A Real Place does exactly the opposite
CONNECTION TO INTERNET-BASED SOCIAL MEDIA
People find out what’s being discussed online and arrange to meet in-person in a Real Place. Blogs, tweets and audio can be recorded live. Trending topics can be discussed in A Real Place and simultaneously online. A Real Place will extend the Internet into physical space. Unlike the internet, no personal data will be captured or sold in a Real Place.
THE ENTER REALITY APP
• Shows people where to find the nearest Real Place
• They can find out what’s being discussed at each Real Place
• They can vote online to create a discussion group before they even get there
Once People have arrived at A Real Place
•They can use the App to register to join a discussion group (if they want to)
• They can ask to create a new group – or to change the current one
• Members of groups can propose ideas – which can be recorded
• Members of groups can vote on ideas
This is completely optional – some users will prefer face-to-face conversation only
